Our pathway is very flexible! You can move in and out of advanced courses throughout your academic career, and there are no prerequisites for the courses. You will always have options depending on your academic needs and desires. We are able to offer an AP version of all of our advanced classes to provide the opportunity for students to earn college credit.

Is AP Human Geo Right for You?
For those students who feel ready to take an advanced social studies class, they can register for AP Geography, which is a year-long course. (Students would complete their Government requirement as a junior or senior - both AP and regular Government would remain an option, though AP Gov is strongly encouraged.)
AP Human Geography is a weighted class, similar in difficulty to Advanced LA 9 or Advanced Physical Science. Students have the option to take a National Exam, typically administered in May by College Board, to earn college credit. The exam is encouraged but not required.
