If you are currently in 9th Grade, headed into 10th grade, you are required to take World History. We have two options:
AP World History

If you are currently in10th Grade, headed into 11th grade, you are required to take US History. We have three options:
Concurrent US History
AP US History
Regular US History
Concurrent US History is a weighted class, offered in conjunction with Front Range Community College for up to 6 hours of FRCC credit.
AP US History is a weighted class, tied to a national curriculum and an AP exam administered in May. A score of a 3,4, or a 5 may transfer as 3 hours of college credit, dependent on the university you apply to.
US History is a non-weighted class, with an emphasis on 20th century US History.
You are also eligible to register for any of the Social Studies electives: AP European History, AP US Government and Politics, Anthropology, Economics, Psychology and Sociology. See below for more about our electives.
Congratulations - you have made it to senior year! Assuming that you have completed your Geography & Government (9th Grade), World History (10th Grade) and US History (11th Grade) requirements, then you have met all of your graduation requirements for Social Studies.
