Adventure Course

One of the highlights of every year (for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders) is the Adventure Course. The Adventure Course is an indoor cable course that was professionally installed when the school was built. Students wear a harness and are on static belay about 4 1/2 to 5 feet above the ground. They choose their challenge and when ready they can walk across the Burma bridge, ride on the zip line, or attempt the jungle walk!

When is the Adventure Course?

The Adventure Course is from February 11th-February 28th, 2019 during each students physical education time.

What does my student need?

We will wear harnesses so wearing pants or longer shorts is a good idea as harnesses do cause shorts and pants to ride up. Short shorts could be uncomfortable for your student.

Lice is always a concern so in the spirit of being pro active, bringing your own helmet is highly recommended. Bike, ski, climbing, skateboard, scooter etc. helmets are all fine. Please, no motorcycle, motocross or closed faced bike helmets. If you don't own a helmet or your student does forget to bring a helmet they can borrow one. We do have helmets to borrow. When borrowing a helmet a hair net will be provided….at no extra charge :-) to insure there is no transferring of lice.

Do I need to fill out a permission slip for Adventure Course?
