Meet our Student Teachers

My name is Nina Cordero, and I am so excited to be joining your kindergarten community this year! I am currently a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Elementary Education with a minor in Leadership Studies. Becoming a teacher has been such a meaningful journey for me, and I feel so lucky to spend this year learning alongside your children and being a part of such a special time in their lives.

A little about me—I am originally from New Jersey and love spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors, skiing, baking, traveling, and trying new things! One of my favorite parts about working with young children is getting to know all of the little things that make each of them who they are—their personalities, interests, ideas, and of course, all of the funny things they have to say! I hope to be someone your child feels comfortable with, supported by, and excited to see at school each day. I am so grateful to be welcomed into this amazing community and cannot wait for a year full of learning, growing, laughter, and lots of kindergarten fun!

My name is Harper Ernewein, and I am so excited to be your student teacher this year! I am currently studying elementary education at The University of Colorado Boulder, and I am learning all about how to be a great teacher.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, going to see live music, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love exploring new places and making fun memories.

I can’t wait to get to know each of you, learn about the things you love, and have lots of fun together! I’m so happy to be part of the Ryan Rhino's community!
