My name is Erika Arias and I cannot wait to start our learning journey together!  I am starting my 19th year as a Rhino and I absolutely LOVE our school community.  For 13 of those 19 years, I was our school's Teacher Librarian, but during the pandemic, I was asked to co-teach our 2nd and 3rd grade Home Learning class.  It was there and then that I got bit by the classroom teaching bug!  I taught kindergarten for one year and 4th grade for two, and I’m excited to return to 3rd grade my second year!

I love this age because of the curiosity and pride 3rd graders show in their learning, their sense of humor, and their can-do attitude!  I value getting to know each child as an individual, as well as helping them discover the important part they play in our classroom community and the world around them.  I cannot wait to start this fun-filled year with your 3rd grader and you!
