For over three decades, the CU Wizards program has presented FREE monthly shows that entertain and inform children about the wonders of science. Under the direction of Prof. David Nesbitt, these interactive shows are presented once a month from September through June. They are hosted by renowned University of Colorado, Boulder professors and provide a perfect start to a fun-filled weekend. The shows are geared toward children and young adults, but all are welcome! Each program lasts about an hour and includes several lively demonstration experiments.

Do you know about the Boulder Public Library's BLDG 61??

BLDG 61 is an all-ages makerspace and a free community workshop that provides maker education and technology to the public in a creative and inclusive environment. Programming is offered for children, teens, and adults, as well as for families and all-ages groups. Age restrictions will be specified on the calendar when you register.

Access to equipment typically occurs as part of a themed workshop or scheduled guided practice.

Please review our makerspace policy and fill out our release form before attending your first event. We’ll need it on file for you to participate!

The makerspace is accessed through scheduled events listed on our classes and workshop calendar. The space is closed during unscheduled times.

Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented (CAGT) Conference - October 21-22, 2019, Loveland

The 42nd Annual CAGT State Conference, A Gifted State of Mind, will provide attendees opportunities to consider and explore all aspects of giftedness. There are over 80 sessions examining various facets of the "state of mind" of our diverse gifted youth, as well as delving into what educators and GT supporters need to know about the state of gifted education in Colorado and beyond.
