Laser Cut Holiday Decoration with Image

How to do this...

• Find a good picture, and save it to your files.

• Open a drawing file on Inventor

  • Delete everything on the sheet so it is blank.

  • Grab a piece of wood from the top shelf in the laser cutting room.

  • Resize the sheet so it is the size of the piece of wood you will be using.

  • Click on "Manage", then select "Insert Object" then "Create from File" then "Browse" and bring in your picture.

  • Sketch the shape you want cut out.  Change the Line Weight to .001" so it cuts through (vector)

  • Make sure to add a circle near the top so it cuts out and you can hang your finished product.

  • Set it up on the Epilog Laser Cutter

    • Engrave

      • Speed = 100

      • Power = 50

      • Resolution = 300

    • Vector

      • Speed = 5 

      • Power = 100

      • Frequency = 50
