We Meet Every Wednesday from 4-5:30 pm in Room 1122
The Broomfield Mock Trial program, called the "L'Eagles," is an extracurricular academic club that teaches students about the judicial system by learning and performing a simulated court case (called a Mock Trial). The program gives students an opportunity to enhance public speaking and comprehension skills, increase argumentative and persuasive skills, meet new people, learn about the judiciary system, and much more.
Each year, the L'Eagles sends our teams to a regional and state competition in which we perform a case in a real courthouse as both attorneys and witnesses, competing against other high schools.
The L'Eagles are coached by faculty coaches Kate Watson and Jake Teske and attorney coaches Alan Thompson, Judith Judd, Judge Stephen Abbott, and Kim Wexler.
