WELCOME TO ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING!

Architectural Drafting serves as an introduction to a career pathway in residential and commercial drafting and design. Students will learn about the history of architecture, various design styles, and how to draw floor plans using CAD software. Topics like lighting, electrical planning, ADA and accessibility, and building codes will be introduced. By the end of this course, students should understand common drafting and design concepts and be able to create a residential floor plan from scratch.
