Makerspace

In the Makerspace at Flatirons Elementary, students become designers, problem-solvers, and innovators as they learn through hands-on challenges. Students follow the design process to turn their ideas into solutions. Along the way, they collaborate, think creatively, persevere through challenges, and learn from failure. Makerspace experiences are connected to the ISTE Standards, helping students develop skills in creativity, collaboration, computational thinking, communication, and using technology as a tool for learning and problem-solving.
