Who do you think will win the upcoming series? Let us know!
In a rather quiet offseason, one of the biggest breaking news headlines in Fern Cornhole League history took place on April 7th. 2023 Most Valuable Player, Lily Darrow, and Kai Zainy have agreed to leave the Guardians to create their own team in 2024. Guardian's manager Lily Wysuph agreed and is hopeful for a new friendly rivalry to spark. Darrow had one of the greatest single seasons in FCL history last year with the then Ice Guards, winning Rookie of the Year and the Most Valuable Player award. Kai Zainy joined the Ice Guards after his one-series stint with Kellan Rosenfels and the Pharaohs. To top it all off, Lily Darrow, Kai Zainy, Gus Glass, and Lily Wysuph won the 2023 Championship Series together last year and will now have to disband after one glorious season. This means the league will expand to five teams next season, and we'll be patiently waiting for a Guardians vs. new team match-up, seeing Lily Darrow face-off against the team she once ruled the league with.
