Report Cards

Fall grades aren't due until we come back in January, but some schools open the grading windows early. 

The district expectation is that all students will receive feedback in all of their classes including art, music, & PE each semester. Not all standards must be assessed each semester. By the end of the year, students should have been assessed on each report card standard, but if you leave some blank for first semester and hit them during second semester, that is fine!

A suggestion is to use the "Fill All" feature for comments, which are often more understandable to parents, and include a little bit about what you have been working on this semester, which you can then individualize as needed. Please check with your principals about individual school expectations regarding comments!

Educator Effectiveness Standards:

• Standard 1, Element A: Teachers provide instruction that is aligned with the Colorado Academic Standards and their district's organized plan of instruction

• Standard 2, Element D: Teachers work collaboratively with the families and/or significant adults for the benefit of students

• Standard 3, Element B: Teachers use formal and informal methods to assess student learning, provide feedback, and use results to inform planning and instruction
