ABOUT ME: I have been a Broomfield Eagle since 2017. Before coming to Broomfield I worked at Fairview and Nederland High School. (I even did a brief stint at the school district as the Director for Social Studies, PE and Health. )

I am a sponsor for Blue Crew (you know - the juniors and seniors who welcome the freshmen every year) and Prom and serve on the B-Team here within the school.

Other fun facts about me - I have two Master's Degrees and a Doctorate. I was born in New Jersey (right outside NYC) and got married on Broadway at The Lion King. I did my undergrad at Syracuse University where I was a rower and coached rowing at the University of Colorado and University of Louisville. I also coach at OrangeTheory at the Broomfield studio.  

I was named the Colorado Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year in 2023 and the Gilder Lehrman National History Teacher of the Year (Colorado) in 2024. I was also named an Alexander Initiative Fellow at Vanderbilt University in 2025.

I have 2 kiddos - one a high schooler and in our marching band and one in elementary school. My husband works in healthcare, and when I'm not here at BHS, I'm running, reading, watching TV or hanging out with my family and friends.
