Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Welcome to our 3rd grade classroom at Coal Creek Elementary! We’re Mr. Ostendorf and Ms. Booher, and we’re so excited to be your teachers this year. We truly believe that 3rd grade is the best year. It’s a time when students grow in big ways, both academically and personally. Our classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, kindness is expected, and everyone belongs. We can’t wait to learn, explore, and grow together with you!

About Mr. O
Hello everyone, My name is Will Ostendorf, but most kids call me Mr. O. I am absolutely honored to be your teacher for 3rd Grade! This will be my 9th year at Coal Creek and my 4th year teaching 3rd grade.
When I am not in school you can find me hiking with my new puppy named Henry, reading, skiing, biking, horseback riding, and traveling - pretty much anything outdoors.

About Mrs. Booher
I’m Mrs. Booher, and I’m so excited to start another wonderful year at Coal Creek—my fourth year here and my favorite grade to teach! I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and my Master’s in Special Education, but most of my teaching experience has been right here in 3rd grade. I grew up near Cincinnati, spent a few years in Seattle, and now feel so lucky to call Louisville home. My husband David and I have two sweet girls, Ella and Addison. I can’t wait for all the fun and learning we’ll share this year. 3rd grade is the best!
