BVSD Libraries Vision & Mission Statement:


Our mission is to provide equitable access for students and teachers to 21st Century Libraries staffed by certified Teacher Librarians in order to create a culture of lifelong learners and a community of digital citizens.


To support the BVSD Vision, every school will have a library with a robust, culturally rich collection that includes books, ebooks, audiobooks, and research databases for equitable access to relevant, current, trusted information. Every school will strive to staff a full-time certified teacher librarian that collaborates with staff, students, and community in order to nurture successful, lifelong learners who confidently confront the great challenges of their time.

Congratulations to our 22-23 Battle of the Books team.  They took FIRST PLACE in the 22-23 district-wide competition! Students who participated include: Sophie Lewandowski, Gar Szabo, Megan Whitaker, and Griffin Knight.
