The 47th Annual Moving Up Day Ceremony is a celebration of student achievement and success. Last year over $207,000 in scholarships were awarded to C.W. Baker High School students during the Moving Up Day Ceremony. This year the goal is to award more scholarships to this very deserving class.
This year on May 28th, The Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation and members of C.W. Baker High School will surprise winning students by visiting them at their home to deliver the scholarship and yard sign. These very personal, mini award ceremonies will be captured by cameras and cell phones, which will be shared for publication on our District website and social media outlets for all to see throughout the day.
Procedures for Moving Up Day
Parents of scholarship winners will be contacted prior to Moving Up Day to pick an estimated delivery window time.
Please keep this a secret! We want the students to be surprised. However students should be awake, dressed appropriately for photos and ready to greet the scholarship donor.
