Subitizing is an essential skill for our kinders. The goal is for them to be able to look at a group of objects and automatically recognize the whole, without having to point and count each item.
This year we will be using a new Math program, Eureka Math2.
There are 6 modules:
Module 1 - Counting and Cardinality
Module 2- Two-dimensional and Three-dimensional shapes
Module 3- Comparison of measurable attributes
Module 4- Composition and Decomposition
Module 5- Addition and Subtraction
Module 6- Place Value Foundations
Please keep an eye out for family connection practice sheets inside of your kiddo's communication folder. They are for additional practice. The practice sheets are scattered throughout our six math modules.
