Dear BVCS Parents,
The safety and security of your child is our highest priority. To further strengthen campus protection, we have updated our Chapel Safety Procedures, effective immediately. Please review the following important details:
Visitor Entry
Parents and guests must park in the north elementary parking lot.
Enter through the elementary office, where a government-issued ID will be scanned through the Raptor Visitor Management System.
Once cleared, visitors will receive a badge and may proceed to chapel through the south gate.
No visitors may enter chapel without completing this process.
Chapel Doors Locked
All chapel entrance doors will remain locked during services.
Security Presence
A BVCS security officer will be present inside chapel or actively patrolling while students in Grades 7–12 are walking to and from services.
New Signage
Clear signs have been posted to direct visitors to the correct check-in location and process.
We deeply appreciate your partnership as we work together to maintain a secure environment where students can worship and grow in their faith. Thank you for supporting these important measures. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s principal.
Working together for Him,
Bobby Kirchner, Superintendent \\ Michelle Mott, Assistant Superintendent

YOU'RE INVITED TO HOMECOMING!
Join us for an evening full of school spirit, family fun, and Lion pride at our BVCS Homecoming Game! Come cheer on our Lions, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the energy of our Christ-centered community. Bring the whole family—this is a night you won’t want to miss!
JV game 5, V game 7:15, floats between games, royalty at halftime of the varsity game.
From October 6–24, we’re collecting new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, and gloves of all sizes to bless the Modesto Gospel Mission. Let’s come together as a school family to keep our community warm this winter!
A BVCS TRADITION
We’re excited to invite you to one of our favorite traditions—our annual golf tournament at Spring Creek Country Club on Monday, October 27, 2025. This special day brings together parents, staff, alumni, and friends of BVCS for fun on the course, great fellowship, and a shared purpose: supporting our students.
All proceeds benefit the BVCS Impact Fund, which strengthens five key areas of excellence—Academics, Innovation & Safety, Staff, Athletics & Theatre Arts, and Tuition Assistance. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just enjoy the community spirit, this is a fantastic way to be part of the BVCS Difference while having a memorable day.
PARENT & STUDENT INFORMATION SESSIONS
Today’s students face real dangers, and we want to stand with families to address them head-on. Join us for a series of important evenings designed to equip and encourage parents and students.

RIGHTNOW MEDIA:
RightNow Media has something for everyone! Every person in our school can access Biblically-based videos on topics like marriage, parenting, youth, recovery, leadership, finances and much more.
SUPPORT BVCS:
As we faithfully steward our resources each year, BVCS depends on the generosity of our community to offset over $200,000 each year. We are inviting your to come alongside us through generous giving to the IMPACT Fund, our annual fund that sustains every area of the BVCS Difference: Academics, Innovation & Safety, Staff, Athletics & Theatre Arts, as well as Tuition Assistance.
Your gift directly supports Christ-centered education, strong academics, arts, discipleship, and athletics. By setting up a recurring monthly gift, you create lasting impact that fuels our mission all year long.
