THIS WEEK IN JUNIOR HIGH

Dear Junior High Families,

At this stage, our students are becoming more independent—but their safety remains our top priority. The safety fee introduced this year allows us to reinforce the protections and training needed to keep our junior high students secure on and off campus.

These resources support enhanced campus security, teacher and staff training, emergency preparedness, and responsible technology and cell phone use guidelines. Whether in classrooms, hallways, athletic practices, or field trips, we are committed to making sure every student is protected and supervised in age-appropriate ways.

Thank you for standing with us in ensuring that junior high remains a safe, structured environment where students can grow in their faith and leadership.

CrossWired Robotics

CrossWired Robotics is a junior high enrichment class. In addition to meeting during 7th period, students receive mentoring from the Iron Patriots. Big Valley Christian School will compete in a local First Lego League tournament against schools from Northern California this fall. Students are busy programming, problem-solving, innovating, and having fun!

The junior high leadership team hosted a fantastic rally promoting the Junior High Olympics!

Blue and Gold Fridays

We are proud to be BVCS Lions! School Spirit builds community and fosters positive relationships. Every student and staff member at BVCS is encouraged to wear Blue and Gold EVERY FRIDAY of the year! Weekly recognition of students participating will be celebrated!

College and Career Wednesdays

We are proud to be Lions who graduate onto College and/or Career Pathways. EVERY WEDNESDAY, every student at BVCS is encouraged to showcase a College and/or Career shirt.
