Meet & Greet Opportunities with David O’Leary
As we prepare for this exciting next season at BVCS, we would love for families to have the opportunity to meet our incoming Superintendent, David O’Leary.
David has already been a valued part of the BVCS community, and we are grateful for the leadership, experience, and heart for Christian education he brings as he steps into this new role beginning in June.
We invite families to join us at one of the following informal Meet & Greet opportunities:
• Elementary Families — Thursday, May 21 | 6:00–7:00 PM in the Elementary Unity Courtyard during Elementary Open House
• 7th–12th Grade Families — Wednesday, May 27 | 8:00–9:30 AM in Room 102
We hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and help us warmly welcome David to this new season of leadership at BVCS!
Dangers Kids Face via Zoom
You are invited to join us this coming Wednesday 5//20/26 from 6:00–6:45 PM via Zoom for our final Dangers Kids Face meeting of the school year.
This month’s conversation will focus on the mental health and emotional challenges many children and teens are facing today. Together, we’ll discuss practical ways parents can support their children through anxiety, stress, technology pressures, emotional struggles, and healthy communication at home.
Our goal is to create a hopeful, practical, and Christ-centered conversation that helps parents feel encouraged, equipped, and supported as they navigate these important topics with their children.
There will also be time for parent questions and discussion.

We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation!
Tuition Assistance Update
We are grateful to share that, through the generosity of our church and school community, approximately $47,000 has already been given toward Tuition Assistance for the 2026–2027 school year.
These gifts help make Christ-centered education possible for more than 100 BVCS students and families by helping remove financial barriers to Christian education.
While we are thankful for this strong beginning, the need still remains. Last year, our community gave more than $80,000 toward Tuition Assistance, and we are prayerfully continuing toward that goal again this year.
If you would still like to participate, there is still time to give:
• Online at bvcs.org/tuition-assistance
• Text “$BVCS” to 1-209-252-3583
• Tuition Assistance envelopes are available during weekend services
Thank you for partnering with us to nurture and equip students to impact the world for Christ.
