Tuition Assistance Giving Opportunity
At BVCS, we believe every student should have the opportunity to experience a Christ-centered education—one where they are known, discipled, and equipped to impact the world for Christ.
For many families, cost is the biggest barrier. Tuition assistance helps bridge that gap, opening the door for more students to grow in truth, confidence, and their understanding of who God created them to be.
We invite you to prayerfully consider giving a gift toward Tuition Assistance—an opportunity to invest directly in the life and future of a student.

Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 4–8, and we would love to invite you to join us in celebrating the incredible men and women who pour into your children each and every day.
Our goal is simple: meaningful appreciation that is doable for families. Whether you participate one day or all five, it will make a difference.
Here’s a simple 5-day plan to guide the week:
Monday (May 4) – Notes of Encouragement
Have your child bring a card, note, or drawing for their teacher or a staff member. A few heartfelt words go a long way.
Tuesday (May 5) – Prayer & Gratitude
Take a moment as a family to pray for your teachers and staff.
You can also send a quick email sharing something you’re thankful for. Please “cc” Michelle Mott (michellem@bvg.org) in the email and she’ll put each submission into a prize drawing for staff!
Wednesday (May 6) – Treat Day
Send in your child’s teacher’s favorite snack, drink, or small treat (if you know it!). If not, a simple coffee, soda, or sweet treat is always appreciated. Lunch will also be provided for all staff.
Thursday (May 7) – Staff Room Blessing Day
Help us stock our Staff Rooms! Families may drop off snacks, drinks, or breakfast items to your campus office for our shared staff spaces. Just drop off your goodies to your child’s office (Preschool-6th grade office located in the east wing or the 7th-12th grade office located in the main entry of the 7th-12th building). This is a great day to contribute as a group!
Friday (May 8) – Above & Beyond
Consider a small gift, gift card, or simply another note thanking a staff member who has made an impact on your child this year.
Please sign up HERE so we can plan accordingly! We already have 30 parents signed up across preschool-12th grade and we welcome even more participation!
We are deeply grateful for the dedicated educators and staff at BVCS—men and women who not only teach, but model Christ, build relationships, and invest in the hearts and lives of our students every single day.
Thank you for partnering with us to make this a special week of encouragement and appreciation.

Spring Parent Survey – Thank You for Your Feedback
Thank you to the 53 families who took the time to complete our Spring Parent Survey. Your input is incredibly valuable and helps us continue to grow and strengthen the BVCS experience.
Overall, we are encouraged by what we heard:
Families continue to report a strong overall experience at BVCS, with high marks in areas like mission alignment, spiritual growth, and academic quality
Many of you shared that your children feel known, cared for, and supported by their teachers and staff
We are grateful for the consistent feedback highlighting the Christ-centered environment and the meaningful impact it is having on students’ lives
We were especially encouraged by the many stories of:
Students growing in their faith and relationship with Christ
Teachers making a lasting impact through care, encouragement, and challenge
Families feeling blessed and grateful to be part of the BVCS community
Areas We’re Continuing to Grow
Your feedback also helps us identify opportunities for improvement. Some of the most common themes included:
Communication clarity and timing, especially around events and deadlines
Continued focus on campus safety visibility and procedures
Enhancements to student life experiences, including extracurriculars and events
We are actively reviewing these insights as a leadership team and will continue to make thoughtful adjustments as we plan for next year. We are grateful for your partnership, your honesty, and your trust. It is a privilege to partner with you in nurturing and equipping students to impact the world for Christ.
If you ever have questions or additional feedback, we welcome the conversation—please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child's principal.
