Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Today, in Chapel, we talked about how we got here as humans. The answer is God. He created us and without Him we do not exist. Our message focused on Genesis 5:1-2. In these verses, God tells us, as He inspired Moses to write, that He created man, He made us in His likeness and He created us Male and Female. Therefore, we are to give God glory. We talked about this glory as adoration. Looking at the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, Jesus begins this prayer with adoration for God the Father. We are to begin with glorifying God and look for ways to glorify God in every aspect of our lives.

I hope you and your family were given the chance to share your faith this past week. And, if not, I pray that God will give you that opportunity. The opportunity God has given me is with my neighbors. Particulary my neighbor across the street. I have continued to talk with him about God and asked if I can pray for him. I'm excited to see what God does in his life. This weekend take time with your family to intentionally glorify God through one activity together. Ask each other, what was it like using this moment to glorify God? Have a great weekend!
