Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Today at Chapel, we intentionally spent our time celebrating our Veterans! Throughout our special gathering we spent time hearing stories from our Veterans, listening to speeches read by our High School Chaplains, our second grade and fourth grade classes singing the National Anthem and our fifth grade classes reciting the American's Creed. All of this was done in order to say thank to God for our Veterans and the sacrifice they have made. Thank you, Veterans! We hope you enjoy Veterans Day next Tuesday November 11th. 

This weekend and the coming week, talk to your kids about what it means to serve our country. What are the sacrifices that are made? How hard is it? How difficult is it for the family of the person serving? Make time on Veterans Day Tuesday November 11th, to thank a Veteran for their service!
