Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

How did we get the Bible we have today? Today, in Chapel, we talked about how God preserved His Word, the Bible, for us and many other generations that have come and are still to come. 2 Peter 1:19-21 tells us that God spoke through the prophets, apostles and through Jesus who is God the Son. All of these were the methods in which God communicated with us for all time. The prophets were how God communicated the Old Testament. The Apostles is how God communicated a large part of the New Testament. Jesus, His life, death, resurrection and ascension is how the Trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) chose to redeem sinners.

Take a moment with your family this week(end) and remind each other, when someone asks "How did God communicate with us?", we can respond with sharing about the life of Christ and the Bible.
