During or after each therapy session, we can discuss how to build your child's new communication skills into everyday activities to maximize his or her progress.

Does your child spend long hours at school or daycare? Visiting your child at these locations can be extremely convenient and beneficial for their learning. During or after each therapy session, we will update your child's teachers on the progress they are making and discuss how to build their new communication skills into everyday activities to maximize progress.

Community based services provide a unique opportunity to bring therapy into the real world. Let's go to the store, the park, the beach, or the zoo! Community based therapy may not be an option for every session, but when possible, spending time in the the places your child frequents most will help bring their communication skills into their daily lives.

Family Coaching
As a parent, you are your child's first and most influential teacher. Coaching sessions are designed to empower you by fueling your confidence in your ability to support your child's communication development. You and your family members are all invited to take part in coaching sessions to learn communication strategies that will support and strengthen your relationship with your child. While some amount of coaching does take place naturally in home and community based therapy, additional sessions that focus exclusively on family coaching may be recommended to supplement the support that your child receives from me directly.
