Financial Aid Resources

FAFSA  (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)  www.fafsa.gov

The first step to applying for most types of Financial Aid!!  FAFSA applications (traditionally) open on October 1 of your senior year.  It is recommended that you complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible on or after the form becomes available.  Your parents must use the previous year's tax information.  In a few simple steps, most students and parents who filed their tax returns can transfer their tax information directly into their FAFSA application.  Deadline is (traditionally) March 2!!

California Student Aid Commission (www.csac.ca.gov) Grants, scholarships, loans and more.....

Cal Grants are one of the smartest ways to get cash for college. For starters, it's money you don't have to pay back.  Note: you have to complete the FAFSA to apply for a Cal Grant.  The GPA Verification will be done by the school.
