Good Day!

I am the gifted educator at Baboquivari Unified School District. I have been with the school district for many years now. I started my teaching career at BUSD in 2011 teaching 5th and 4th grade and then moving into Gifted Education. I enjoy working with students to help them reach their full potential and to discover the joy of learning.  

Working with advanced students I utilize techniques that help the students develop productivity, creativity, self-discipline, and leadership skills. I individualize and modify instruction as necessary for the unique education needs of advanced students. When working with high-achieving students it is important to understand that a student may be intellectually advanced beyond their years but developmentally similar to their peers, and know how to relate on that intellectual level without losing sight of the child’s true age. I have pull out classes for K-6th grade students, we meet twice a week to learn with other gifted students. 

When I am not in Sells teaching I enjoy being outside working on our little farm in Three Points. We have a variety of animals to care for and a few acres to keep up.
