Dear Parents, Guardians and All Educational Partners,
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! The Bellflower Alternative Education (BAE) Center has been in existence for over 25 years serving the needs of students in the Bellflower Unified School District. Our primary goal is to educate students who were expelled from the comprehensive school sites or administratively referred due to a behavior matter and to assist with implementing student remediation plans. The BAE Center is a small school, yet students benefit from a curriculum rich environment and multiple systems of support and programs including Social Emotional Learning and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports. Additionally, the BAE Center’s team of certificated and classified staff are dedicated and they work hard each day to maintain a school setting and climate where students feel welcomed, valued and safe.
