Uniforms
Each team that registers in advance will be assigned a team color.
All members of that team are required to wear that color, if they do not wear the team color they will be in-eligible to play
All players must wear the correct colors for their team, ie.
If a player's team is assigned to wear royal blue they cannot wear Carolina Blue and be eligible to play.
No pinnies will be available to assist any team.
If a player is wearing the wrong color they must find a new shirt.
It is under the discretion of the referees and game administrator to determine if a player is in-eligible.
If a team attempts to register the day of the game they might be not allowed if the color they have is already taken by a pre-registered team.
Flags will be provided, but they are limited to 10 per team. Teams larger than 10 will have to switch flags.
If a player enters the game without flags, a defensive player only needs to touch that player with any part of their body to down them.
Please return all your flags to the game administrator immediately after the end of your game.
The Game football will be provided by the tournament.
A game administrator will be holding a stick to mark the line of scrimmage and can throw a flag for offsides.
A bean bag will be thrown on the ground to represent where rushers must start from behind that point.
A game administrator will be holding a first down pole to let the offense to known where the first down to go is.
35-Second Play Clock
You must start your new play before a 35-second play clock expires. The clock starts when the ball is placed by the referee.
A time keeper will keep track of the 35-second play clock. The 35-second clock will start when the ball is placed.
When the play clock expires the timer will blow an air horn to signify that time has expired. The referees with blow the play dead if it has not started before the air horn sounds.
Ignore the air horn, but follow the referees signal for the 35-second play clock.
Timing the Game:
The game will consist of two 15-minute halves.
The clock will be running at all times until the 2-minute warning which then stops the game for a 30-second timeout.
Half Time lasts 2-minutes.
Both teams will be given 1-timeout per half that does stop the clock. The time out lasts 1-minute.
Referees may stop the clock at any time to confer with each other about a play. When finished, they will place the ball and start the clock when play resumes.
Starting the Game:
No time will be given to warm-up. The games must start promptly as it will take time to exchange flags between teams.
Captains of the team will quickly decide the coin toss while their team is being equipped. (Winner has first possession, starting on defense decides which side they will defend)
The 2nd half, the person that started on defense in the 1st half will start the 2nd half with the ball.
If your team is not present when captains are called it is a forfeit and the next game will be called.
You must have 4-players to start a game.
Ending a Game Early
If at any point the point differential between two teams is 30-points or higher the game ends immediately.
When there is less than 10-minutes left in the game, if at any point the point differential is 21-points or greater the game ends immediately.
These are meant to speed along the tournament because sunset it early.
