The Tournament:
First round match ups will be drawn at random at 7:45.
If the game is tied at the end of regulation, each team has 1-possession starting at the last first down marker with 4-plays to score. If after a possession by each team no one is ahead, they play another round until at the end of a round a team is ahead. The play clock is still enforced.
When you lose your first game your team is placed in the pre-determined losers bracket. If you lose a 2nd game you are out of the tournament.
The team that survives the losers bracket plays a championship game to determine the winner.
There is a 1st place trophy for the winner and 8-ribbons.
Who is eligible to play:
They must be at least 14-years old.
They must have signed the liability waiver, if a player is 17 or younger a parent or guardian must sign it.
They must be on one team and be wearing its assigned T-shirt/Jersey color.
The team must pay the $80 entrance fee.
Important Notes:
This is open division, you can play against a team of any age that is 14 or older.
This is co-ed, both sexes are invited to play and will play on the field at the same time.
The games will be played until the tournament is over or until sunset. If sunset arrives before the tournament concludes, the winner will be decided by the:
1st tie breaker: if in the championship game, who has the lead.
2nd tie breaker: The best win percentage.
3rd tie breaker: Total points scored for the tournament.
