Students who completed the Preliminary Scholastic Achievement Test (PSAT) in October should receive their score report directly from the College Board. Students who provided their mobile phone number during exam set up can easily view their scores on their phone with BigFuture School. The mobile app is part of the SAT Suite and provides secure access.
Students with access to College Board accounts will have access to their scores online as well as additional insights to help them better understand their performance. This includes:
Putting their scores in context using score comparisons and percentiles
Understanding their knowledge and skills in 4 content areas in Reading and Writing and 4 content areas in Math
Exploring careers by viewing a career snapshot that provides examples of growing careers in their state aligned to the skills demonstrated by the student in their test.
Resources to better understand PSAT scores can be found here or watch this video. For those students planning to register for a SAT exam in the future, the Khan Academy is an excellent, free, online test-prep option.
