Meet the Teacher

My name is Vanessa Castro. I will be your child's first grade teacher. I have worked in Burlington Township for 8 years. I taught Kindergarten for two years before I transitioned to first grade. I love first grade! It is such an amazing year filled with so much growth and learning!

My husband and I have two children. Savannah is four years old and Jack is 17 months old. We also have a dog named Parker who is 14 years old! Family is so important to me, being a mom brings me so much joy!

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family, cook and bake, spent time down the shore in LBI, and exercise.
