ABOUT
Students in Action Jr. / Block B Club at BIS strives to develop well-rounded students. The Block B Society has been an important part of BIS since the founding of the school and has a long history of encouraging school pride and personal achievement through academic achievement, participation in school clubs or athletics, and community service. All BIS students are invited to participate. To participate, students must join the Students in Action Jr. / Block B Club during Trojan Time on Tuesdays.
Students in Action Jr. works together with Students in Action leadership from Burlingame High School in an effort to create continuity in community service throughout our students' academic career in Burlingame. Burlingame High School students will help coordinate events and meet occasionally with BIS students during club time throughout the school year.
Students unable to participate in the Trojan Time club may submit an independent service form for seven hours of service. The forms are always due the last two weeks of each trimester. Students in the Trojan Time Students in Action Jr./Block B club do not need to submit a the service hours form.
