Welcome to Burlington County Institute of Technology Criminal Justice Program located at the Westampton campus.

Hello, I am Officer Azzarone a retired police officer who served 25 years with the Ocean Township Police Department located in Waretown NJ. During my career, I was assigned to numerous units including the Motorcycle unit, Bicycle unit, Crime Prevention and D.A.R.E. Unit. While working for the police department I was also assigned to work with D.A.R.E. New Jersey in their training unit.

During my police career I obtained my Bachelors and Masters degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Administrative and Police Sciences.

Upon retirement my goal was to become an instructor of Criminal Justice and I began my teaching in December of 2015 at BCIT.
