United States Equestrian Federation High School Athlete Program

You don't have to be a record setting quarterback to letter in high school sports anymore. The US equestrian is writing a new chapter in the recognition of student athletes - one that honors equestrians.

The US Equestrian Athlete Lettering Program is open to equestrian athletes in all disciplines who are currently USEF members or who become members. Students participating in the program need to log 100 hours of riding or training and three competitions of any level or type to complete the requirements for that year. The program runs from June 1 through May 31 of each year and will honor those who document their training and competition involvement by awarding emblems and pins. Students may also be presented with a BCIT varsity letter at the Sports Awards Ceremony held in June.

Meetings are held during regular activity periods.

Members are responsible for organizing their riding, training and showing experiences. BCIT is not affiliated with any farm/stable for student use.

Members must adhere to all standards set by the U.S. Equestrian Federation. Please see FAQ below.

Members are responsible for paying their U.S.E.F. membership fees.

Please see Mrs. L. Allen in Veterinary Technology (B104) for more information.
