Dana Middleton is a former Burke County student who earned a Bachelors of Arts in Literature- Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and has lived in Washington since 2015. "They primarily write poetry that works toward embodiment, possibility and resistance– and against binaries, State logic, and tech overlords.
