TICKETS/ELIGIBILITY:
Tickets cost $40 for EBHS Juniors & Seniors and $45 for guests. Tickets will be sold Monday, March 30th through Monday, April 27th before school, after school & during lunch. See Mrs. Lowman in the office to purchase tickets.
Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets for themselves and one guest. Guests’ ages will be restricted: At minimum, guests must be at least a freshman (any high school is fine); at maximum, guests must not be older than 20 years old on the date of the prom. Any guests who are not in the Junior/Senior Class at EBHS must be approved before tickets are purchased, this includes Freshmen and Sophomores who attend EBHS. You can pick up and return printed "guest forms" at the front desk. You can also print your own copy from the "Forms" tab above. These are due back no later than March 30th.
Tickets will be given out at the end of 4th period on Friday, May 1st.
Students may not attend prom if they have any outstanding debts, any OSS, more than 3 days/12 periods of ISS, or more than 5 days of absences that have not been made up before the date of prom.
Students who are ineligible to attend the prom may submit an appeal to the administration. Appeals are accepted from March 9th through April 17th. You may NOT purchase a ticket until your appeal form is turned in. You can pick up and return printed "appeal forms" at the front desk. You can also print your own copy from the "Forms" tab above. Students will be notified of the appeal decision within two weeks of submitting the appeal. Freshman, sophomores, and guests are not able to appeal.
THEME/PROPER ATTIRE:
“Golden Age of Hollywood - A Red Carpet Affair” is the theme this year. Prom is a formal event and formal attire is required. Clothing should be tasteful, appropriate for a high school function, and not excessively revealing.
ENTRY TO PROM:
Students will be required to check in upon arrival and show a photo ID in order to be admitted to Prom. No one will be admitted who has consumed alcohol – this is a high school event! If any individual leaves the building for any reason, they will not be allowed to return.
KING/QUEEN:
We will have the annual crowning of Prom King and Queen at 10:00 p.m. on Prom night. Any Senior attending the Prom is eligible. EBHS Juniors and Seniors will vote at the Prom. Voting will close at 9:00 p.m. in order to have time to tally votes.
