Student 2 Student is a program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, create a positive environment , support academic excellence, and ease transitions. Our S2S program teams with other S2S programs throughout BISD to make Burkburnett schools an inviting place.

Back2School Bash- ORE kicked off the year with a Back2School Bash. This was an opportunity for students to mingle, play, and get to know their teachers and meet new friends. S2S displayed their accomplishments and shared how they support our military students.
The Month of the Military Child- S2S members provided snacks to military students, held an appreciation breakfast, and provided small tokens of appreciation to celebrate our military students.
Together around the table- S2S members met with the military students to have a relaxing/friendly lunch! They enjoyed good company and made new connections!
Friendsgiving- S2S members welcome all military students and help them get acquainted to our school. They enjoyed snacks and activities while building connections with their peers.
Raising/Lowering the Flag- The S2S committee is responsible for raising, lowering, and folding the flags each day.
S2S BINGO- S2S hosted a BINGO social for the end of the year. There were prizes, snacks, and fun for our military students.
Friendsgiving- S2S members and military students got together for snacks and activities.
Christmas Social- S2S members got together for food and fun to celebrate Christmas and our military students.
Community Service- S2S participated in the Ring the Bell campaign for the Salvation Army.
