TEA Military Family Resources: The Texas Education Agency recognizes the challenges facing you and your families as you transition to a new home and school district. We have developed this section of our web site to provide information about Texas schools, graduation requirements and links to other sites of interest. 

MCEC-The Military Child Well-Being Toolkit: The MCEC Military Child Well-being Toolkit has been created to provide accessible social-emotional supports and resources directly to parents, educators, school counselors, administrators, and other youth-serving professionals working with military-connected youth.  

MCEC : MCEC supports all military-connected children by educating, advocating, and collaborating to resolve education challenges associated with the military lifestyle. 

Military OneSource-Children, Youth & Teen Resources: There are many resources through Military OneSource and other Defense Department programs that support mission readiness and enhance quality of life for the military community. Face Challenges Effectively With Confidential Counseling for Youth : Children and teens show stress in different ways. Your child may act out, be sad or fearful, or show signs of low self-esteem. To help your child cope with challenges, Military OneSource provides free counseling for youth ages 13-17 and family counseling sessions for children ages 6-12 with a parent present.

Our Military Kids : Our Military Kids recognizes the sacrifice of children of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post 9/11 combat-injured service members by offering extracurricular activity grants that build the child's self-confidence, enhance family wellness, and strengthen a shared sense of community. 

Blue Star Families:  These Blue Star Families Resources highlight tools that help ease the transition of military- and Veteran-connected families into their new communities.  

ZEROtoTHREE:  ZERO TO THREE works to ensure that babies and toddlers benefit from the early connections that are critical to their well-being and development. 

Military & Family Readiness Center: The M&FRC is dedicated to providing individuals, families, leadership, and retirees with services that strengthen the military community and promote self-sufficiency, mission readiness, military retention, and adaptation to the Air Force way of life.
