Learning Focus
Sixth grade social studies focus is on World Cultures & Geography. As we travel through our curriculum, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) will set the parameters for our learning. The TEKS are organized into the following eight categories or strands: history, geography, economics, government, citizenship, culture, science, technology and society, and social studies skills.
