*Taking the exam is not a requirement. When you create an account and join the classroom, there is an option to opt out of the exam and just take the course.
Important Dates and Deadlines:
AP registration is open for the 25-26 school year.
November 13th: Final Payment and Registration Deadline for students enrolled in a year long AP course or for students opting into only the exam without taking the course at school.
Eligible for full refund by November 8th.
March 12th: Final Payment and Registration Deadline for students enrolled in a second semester AP course (the only one BHS has is AP Government with Mr. Sanders).
Eligible for full refund by March 6th.

It does take some research on your part to determine the best route for you and your future plans.
You can take some courses AP and some Dual Credit if you like. It doesn't have to be all in one program. Check with your counselor for all options at BHS.
