Mathsamasama Tayo sa Pagtulong - Relief Operation

Due to the pandemic, the proposed projects of the organization got canceled. Some of which include Mathematics Awareness Month, seminars, and Math Night. In this case, the organization decided to use some of the funds to help its members.

Amidst a health crisis caused by Covid-19, Mathematics Society conducted its last project for A.Y. 2019-2020 with a project entitled “Mathsamasama Tayo sa Pagtulong” last June 25, 2020, in the different barangays of City of Malolos, Bulacan with the presence of Reynan Robles- MathSoc Student Adviser, Raymond Sabobo, Christian Mike Luna, Jet Mateo, and Alexandra Gaylie Valenzuela- MathSoc officers, Ma’am Deo Stephanie R. Angeles- MathSoc Faculty Adviser and Sir Adolfo Victorino of College of Science-Mathematics Department.

There are 80 packs of relief goods were distributed to different families around Malolos. The relief goods contained 3 kilos of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, and half a dozen of 3 in 1 instant coffee.

The purpose of the project is to extend a helping hand to those in need. Included in the list are the active members of the organization, some senior citizens in Tahanang Mapagpala, and some selected single parents.
