CALCULENDING

A calculator is our weapon in every quiz and examination as math majors. We need it to do quick arithmetic operations and mathematical functions. Unfortunately, some students couldn't have their calculator, forgot their calculator at home, or their calculator couldn't perform some advanced functions.

That was why the Mathematics Society arranged a calculator lending project called CalcuLending. It was implemented during the face-to-face classes from 2018 to 2020 before the pandemic changed our lives. There are six calculators, and MathSoc can lend them only to the members for free. Since its free, consequences were due to the borrowers if they failed to obey the guidelines. Students borrow it from time to time in the Organization Headquarters below the staircase of the Federizo Hall.

Due to the pandemic and online classes, the implementation of this project is on hold hence will be available once the face-to-face classes begin again.
