I am so excited to be the new Middle and High School counselor here at Bulloch Academy. What a blessing it is to get to love on the students and teachers here! I am from a sweet little town in Southwest Georgia by the name of Bainbridge. I moved to Statesboro for college and decided to stick around! I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University. I am no stranger to BA, as I worked in the After Care program throughout college. This is my second year as a school counselor and I am so thankful that I get todo what I love at such a special place that is BA!

When I am not at work or doing school work, I enjoy going to church, shopping, reading, and hanging out with my people. Romans 8:28 reads "All things work together for those who love God, according to His purpose" and I hope to instill this into your students daily! I am looking forward to a school year full of trusting in His plan!

What a blessing it is to be back at my alma mater as the College and Career Counselor! I graduated from BA back in 2009 and am a proud double Eagle, with my undergrad in Psychology and Master's in Education Administration. Prior to BA, I worked at Ogeechee Technical College for 10 years, 8 of which was within Student Affairs working in Dual Enrollment. I loved my time at OTC and give OTC all the credit for where I am today. I was able to learn and be mentored by some of the best high school counselors in Bulloch County, as well as work under two of the best servant leaders at OTC. My time there taught me how to lead coworkers with humility and grace, while also serving and loving high school students. I hope I am able to lead and direct BA students to accomplish their dreams, while also instilling in them that their identity is not found in their successes or failures. My favorite verse is "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance" (James 1:2-3).

Outside of work, you can find me with my family! My 2 littles keep me busy on the weekends! We LOVE the beach, pool, and anything outdoors! I look forward to guiding your student alongside you and hope that you can trust me to prepare them for what lies ahead! Go Gators!
