All BCPS students will have access to their own Gmail, Google Drive and other tools to assist in their learning. These tools are part of Google's G Suite for Education, a suite of free Google apps tailored specifically for schools. Because of its focus on education, this platform has multiple layers of security to protect your child when doing online work while logged in using her/his BCPS account. In addition to Gmail and Google Drive, Google's G Suite for Education also includes the online learning platform, Google Classroom, a digital classroom allowing teachers and students to share assignments, collaborate and communicate online. Google Meet is also part of the suite and will give your child the opportunity to "attend" class or meet with his/her teacher virtually from practically anywhere.
