Hello! My name is Denise Bullock. This is my 14th year teaching for Bullitt County Public Schools. I began my teaching career at Shepherdsville Elementary where I taught 1st and 2nd grades. I came to PGE in 2015 and served as the Math Intervention Teacher for 4 years. This is my sixth year teaching 2nd grade at PGE.
I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education at Indiana University Southeast in 2010. I received my Masters of Arts in Education as a Literacy Specialist from the University of the Cumberlands in 2018. During my career, I have participated in the Kentucky Reading Project and the Bellarmine Reading Academy. I have also completed AddVantage Math Recovery Courses 1 and 2, as well as numerous trainings through the Kentucky Center for Mathematics. I am passionate about learning and want to ensure that I do everything possible to make sure all of my students are successful!
My husband Chad and I have 2 wonderful adult children, Phillip and Rachel. We also have 2 fur babies, Puddles and Tiberius. My students will also hear many stories about the triplets, my nieces and nephew. I am head over heels in love with them and get so much joy from being their Nene!!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, shopping, working jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with my family and friends.
I look forward to working with you and your child this year and can't wait to watch them grow as learners!
