Join the Supporting and Advocating for DPS EC & Disabled Students Collective! For the 2025 school year we are working to create a webinar series!
The AED in Ed Coalition meets 8 times a year, honoring rest over the summer and January. These spaces are designed to connect DPS with the community to provide additional resources, understanding, and support. In these spaces, the goal is to:
Promote meaningful and equitable disability inclusion within the Durham community
Facilitate and support disability-related best practices for DPS educators, administrators, students, and families
Build a network of support for the alliance of disability inclusion and equity within our community
These meetings are interpreted in Spanish and virtual to increase accessibility. They typically take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. All are welcome and stipends are provided for select folks!
Scheduling for the 2025 - 2026 school year is being finalized. Please email aed@bullcityschools.org with any questions.
