Forest Bathing and Sound Journey Meditation
July 18th, 5:30am-7:30pm
Join us for a unique evening of relaxation, mindfulness, and connection with nature at Bullard Memorial Farm.
This special two-hour experience begins with a 45-minute guided Forest Bathing walk led by Lynn Roberts, inviting participants to slow down, engage their senses, and mindfully connect with the natural beauty of the farm. Forest bathing is a gentle, guided practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-yoku, shown to help reduce stress and promote a sense of calm and well-being.
Following the walk, we’ll gather in the barn for a 75-minute Sound Journey Meditation led by Sonia Stingo of Sound Expression. This immersive relaxation experience uses soothing live sounds from instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, gongs and other resonant instruments to help calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and encourage deep rest.
What to bring:
• Comfortable clothing suitable for walking outdoors
• Walking shoes appropriate for farm paths/terrain
• Water bottle
• For the Sound Journey: chairs will be available, but if you prefer to lie down, please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that will help you be comfortable
