- 10 of our students applied and were accepted to attended the LEAD conference in Washington , D.C. Your previous generous donations made this opportunity possible!
- Planned and created two "ugly sleeping bags" for the Ugly Quilt Project, which provides hand made, up-cycled sleeping bags for NYCs Homeless all using donated materials from the BUGS community
- Collected and donated over 100 cans for City Harvest to help combat hunger in NYC
- Planning an upcoming school-wide Oxfam Benefit to bring awareness to world hunger
- Team building ice skating in Prospect Park
- Raised money and awareness for Autism by sponsoring a bake sale and free uniform day

NJHS is holding an OXFAM Banquet on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 during lunch and Advancement. The purpose of the banquet is to help raise money and awareness for OXFAM, an organization working tirelessly to help support malnourished and hungry children worldwide.
