We believe that every child can succeed in a safe, joyful learning environment, and our team has created such an environment by focusing on safe systems for students; infusing joy in every aspect of our day; and committing to social-emotional learning.  This ensures  that our students are not just academically successful, but are kind citizens committed to their community.  

Every student should be excited to come to school each morning.  We start every day with a morning meeting in each class where students work on SEL skills, which we infuse these practices throughout the day.  We also believe in "big moments."  Every month our entire school gathers for a community meeting in which we recognize student success.  Every month we have a school event- whether during hours or after school- in which we celebrate student success with our families.
